TRAINING
Medical Gas Accreditation (MGA, LLC) is a recognized third party accreditation agency which meets the requirements of the AMSI/ISO/IFC 17024 International Standard. The certifications issued by MGA are in accordance with the ASSE Series 6000 Standard and meet the requirements of the NFPA 99 Health Care Facilities Code and the NFPA 55 Compressed Gases and Cryogenics Fluids Code. The certifications are valid for three (3) years from the date of issuance. Renewal of the certifications can be accomplished by completing an *Approved minimum 4 hour training course and completing a written exam with a passing score.
Recertification training courses are provided by separate training agencies such as EMGS, Inc., but all written exams are provided and independently proctored through MGA.
