Trace Gas Analysis

TRACE GAS ANALYSIS

Trace gas analysis is required in anesthetizing areas of a healthcare facility where nitrous oxide and other halogenated agents are being used to sedate patients. Trace gas analysis helps ensure that the clinical staff is protected while the patient is under sedation. Also included with this analysis is ppm (parts per million) level leak detection with an infrared spectrometer. All trace gas analysis is performed as per NIOSH method 6600 and will help facilities stay compliant with OSHA, CMS, Joint Commission and DNV requirements.
